Stolevska Relationship Counselling
Clinical Counsellor and Certified Clinical Supervisor, MA, PACFA Reg. No. 20318
Violeta Stolevska has been counselling clients in Australia and overseas for thirty-five years, providing individual and couples counselling to clients with a wide range of emotional, behavioural and relationship problems. Violeta is trained in Process-Experiential Emotion-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Systemic Therapy, Couples Therapy (Integrated Psychodynamic, Systemic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Person Centred Therapy, Exposure Therapy and Internal Family System Therapy. These therapies may be helpful for anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, grief, anger, gambling, low self-esteem or life transitions.
Violeta's individual clinical practice with clients combines elements of Emotion Focused Therapy and Internal Family Systems Therapy. This approach is similar to the technique of exposure therapy, except that the client brings up memories of attachment injuries or traumas while in a particular state of compassion, calm, and clarity. The client is therefore able to process those trauma-based emotions and beliefs rapidly.

Violeta's clinical practice with couples combines elements of Psychodynamic, Systemic, Cognitive Behavioural and Emotion Focused Therapy. Violeta helps couples identify and understand patterns of communication and vicious cycles. She helps couples explore the causes behind these behaviours as well as helping each partner to evolve in themselves rather than blaming their partner for difficulties.
Part of Violeta’s work in the last thirteen years has involved providing individual and group clinical supervision. She has been using Focusing in supervision. This approach creates a safe space for supervisees to develop new insights and utilise these in their therapeutic work in a way that is beneficial to their clients.
